Location, you ask? That's pretty general, is it not? Sure, but location features a lot of different things. At most general level, many urban condos may be found in the heart of cities. However if you break it down further - say within biking or walking distance - urban condos are near bars and restaurants, sports, theaters as well as other arts, public transit. Unlike some of my suburban friends, I don't have to get when driving to experience almost any cultural or sporting event I want.
While my job entails lots of driving in and out of the city, there are lots of people who decide to live without cars. They are able to do so as their condo if near to the place they work. Individuals who work at home may just have to walk down the hallway to get at their desks; anyone who has condos near their office take pleasure in the next best thing. Oftentimes, they could walk for work and avoid problems associated with driving and parking. Should they want to go home and have lunch, they have the option. At the same time, if they desire to go for happy hour or dinner after work, there probably are multiple options within a few minutes of their office or their condo.
Another aspect of condo locations I love is that people often arrived at where I am. Given my condo is indeed close to the activities people love, they drive into the city and handle parking. I recently meet them on the restaurant or stadium. When it's time to head home, I've a few-minute walk before me, while my pals have to get within their cars and drive for at least a few minutes.
Finally, shopping. Because i am not really a big shopper myself, the options within walking distance are nearly endless. You can find department stores and chain stores carrying brands of clothing and residential ware that everyone would recognize, to small, independent shops where you can get stuff you can't get elsewhere. If I need a last-minute gift for someone, or have been thinking about the perfect gift for months, I probably simply have to go for a walk to go get it.
As I said earlier within the article, everyone has reasons for surviving in condos. Even though location tops this list for me, I could go on and on about why I enjoy it. But that's a topic for the next day.
